Bright retro studio apt on Main Street

This colorful studio is a great way to get the small town, main street experience in beautiful Saugerties, where the Catskill mountains meet the Hudson Valley. Recently remodeled, the space has all necessary amenities with unique vintage touches. Downstairs is The Dutch Ale House - great for local beers, cocktails and house-smoked meats - and within a block you’ll find a grocery store, specialty foods shop, coffee shop, wine store, movie theater, and great restaurants, book stores and antiques. The studio is light and airy, with two big windows looking out onto Main Street. There is a desk and WiFi for anyone needing space to work, along with a fully-stocked, retro design kitchen. Natural and organic skin and haircare products are available for use. The building is located in the heart of Saugerties, just above one of the top-rated restaurants in the region (with safe outdoor seating) and within walking distance to just about everything the town has to offer. Perfect for a couple or single person looking to get away for a weekend or long-term stay, we’ve happily hosted everyone from hikers to writers to skiers to honeymooners. PET FRIENDLY: Pets are welcome with a $25 fee. Guests will have access to the full studio space, including free parking in the back lot. Guests will have the place to themselves but we’re very available by text or phone for questions, recommendations, etc. The village of Saugerties offers a genuine small-town experience, populated by locals and weekend visitors alike looking to experience the Hudson Valley and nearby Catskill Mountains. Throughout the year, there are events such as the HITS horse show, the famed garlic festival, summer holiday parades and weekly farmers market festivals. With antique and consignment stores, exceptional restaurants, and close proximity to great hiking and skiing, it’s a perfect upstate getaway. Guests are welcome to park for free in the lot behind the building. If that’s full (which is rare, but happens), there is also free parking in the municipal lot off of Partition Street near Mirabella’s restaurant.
