The house is located on a small island called Skarpö just outside the idyllic Vaxholm costal town, here you will find your perfect summer retreat. A beautiful island with plenty of nature walks, wildlife, picturesque bathing spots and large park with tennis courts and summer café. The nearby Vaxholm is a bustling coastal town and transport hub. Here you find plenty of activities, restaurants, grocery stores and history to enjoy. The house is located at the top of Skarpö's south side. Villa with three bedrooms (1 master + 2 small - 6 beds, baby cot available), living room, fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, office and porch. You’ll find plenty of social areas and a cosy fireplace. The guest house is reached via a small path up the hillside to the highest point of the plot. Here you find a breath-taking view of the archipelago and the Stockholm silhouette as the sun sets. There is an outdoor kitchen with charcoal grill, a generous wooden deck perfect for sunbathing, jacuzzi, dining area and lounge furniture. The guest house has two 90 cm beds and a smaller kitchenette. OBS! Steep and rocky plot. The island is well connected and easily access by bus, boat or by car. The nearby Vaxholm is a bustling coastal town and transport hub. Here you find plenty of activities, restaurants, grocery stores and history to enjoy. If travelling by car, you can drive directly to the house with private parking available (approx. 40 mins from Stockholm city). By public transport it is easy to travel to Vaxholm from Stockholm (bus 670) where you can then catch a short ferry (approx. five mins). During peak times certain passenger boats travel from Stockholm to Skarpö, stopping at a pier just 100m from the house. Please ask your host for help with this if you need!
