The Tack Room at Canterbury House

Dear guests. AirBnB is refusing to pay me when I host you. Until they stop withholding my payments, sadly, I cannot accept any more bookings. I have had wonderful guests over the past four years, and would love to continue hosting, but I shall not kowtow to Corporate America. I am truly sorry. Very peaceful, it's independent of the main house so you can come and go as you please. We have secure parking in the courtyard behind gates and there is further parking just nearby if you have guests. Aga-cooked breakfasts and other meals (including veggie/vegan) can be arranged, and we provide kettle, mini-fridge and mini oven/microwave in the Tack Room. Well-behaved dogs are very welcome and are safe in our courtyard accessed direct from the room. There's a TV in the room, and wifi is available in the main house/breakfast room. You can have the courtyard to yourself, with ample parking, plenty of space for your pets, and chairs and barbecue in the summer months. We work from home so are always available to help if necessary. So close to fascinating places like Sandringham (30 mins), the coast (60 mins), Cambridge (60 mins, or less by train!), Oxborough Hall (10 mins), Ely (30 mins) and Norwich (60 mins), great walks for the dogs and great pubs - there's lots going on. The nearest rail station is Downham Market - trains run direct to London King's Cross, and there are usually taxis available. Because of technical issues (ie thick walls!) we can't get the wifi to reach the Tack Room, but it is available in the main house, where we host breakfast.
