"Student special" close to Christiana Hospital

Our charming 3 bedroom ranch is located in a safe, very quiet neighborhood 1.4 miles from Christiana Hospital and close to University of Delaware and tax free shopping at Christiana Mall. Delaware Park racetrack/casino is right down the street. We have plenty of free on street parking. Our back deck has a beautiful view of a park, the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee! We have 2 other Airbnb rooms at this location. **Just upgraded**! Our coziest room which features hardwood floors and a beautiful, brand new tufted full sized upholstered bed with comfy linens. There is a dresser, a night stand, food away desk and chair, dressing mirror, a closet and a 32in HDTV with Netflix and Amazon prime. There is a shared bathroom with shower and tub, kitchen, microwave, fridge, dining and living room with 55in HDTV with cable, Netflix and Amazon prime. There's an electronic front door lock that will your own unique code. The room does have a keyed lock. We are very friendly and try to socialize as much as we can with our guests when we are not at work. We frequently will have a glass of wine on the back patio overlooking the park, occasionally cook dinner for everyone and sometimes watch a movie with our guests in the living room. Very quiet, blue collar, safe neighborhood that is very close to Christiana Hospital and close to Churchman's Crossing train station for public rail to Philly and PHL airport. Also close to UD. We do have two bikes available for those without cars. We are close to the Churchman's Crossing SEPTA station, but do not recommend walking to it. We highly recommend having a car at this location as public transportation is a far walking distance. We provide professional housekeeping every other week for all common areas. There are two other Airbnb bedrooms upstairs that will share common areas including the bathroom. We live downstairs in an apartment with our own bathroom. We hope to attract friendly people, however we understand if you just like to be antisocial sometimes and just veg out on Netflix, that's perfectly ok too. We have two dogs..sometimes they bark!! But they are well behaved and we hope that you like dogs too. They enjoy going for walks if you wish to take them out in the park behind our house! We also have outdoor security cameras on the premises as well as automatic outdoor lights so the outside is well lit all night long. We have a new baby and live in the apartment downstairs so you may hear baby noises now and again!
