'Les Etables' is a stylish and comfortable three bedroom stone cottage located in the main courtyard. Big open plan double height sitting/dining room and brand new modern kitchen. Tumbled travertine floor with stone walls makes this a stylish family retreat. There is a ground floor kingsize bedroom, family bathroom with bath, shower and WC and a further kingsize bedroom. Upstairs there is a large kingsize bedroom and shower/wash room. Quality bedlinen is provided and beds are made up for your arrival. Outside of the cottage there is a picnic table and bbq. Shared heated swimming pool. La Cannonerie was built in 1826 and incorporates parts of a medieval hunting lodge believed to have been built by Francois 1st. All of our cottages are stylish and comfortable and the perfect location to relax and enjoy a fabulous french holiday. Located in the stunning Petite Champagne Cognac region there are no immediate neighbours and guests can relax and enjoy the large 14x6m heated shared swimming pool and terrace with its commanding views across vines and rolling French countryside. About an hour from the beautiful beaches of the coast and the famous islands of Re and Olereon La Cannonerie is the perfect location for day trips to either the beach or one of the many other places of interest including Bordeaux, St Emilion, Cognac, Angouleme, La Rochelle and Saintes.
