You get to enjoy a cozy home in beautiful settings. House is not far from the local ski lift. During the summer there are plenty of opportunities for nature walks, hunting, mushroom picking and such. Cities are only 25 minutes away. House is located in quaint village in district of Velky Krtis. House is sitting on a large lot at the end of the village providing privacy, piece and quiet. You are a short walking distance to the local mart, pub and a bus stop. Your room has a double bed and plenty of storage. Radiator heat on during cold days/nights. Room is on the upper level (you have to conquer several steps). Clean sheets and extra pillows are provided. There is a bathroom with double sink, bath and shower stall. Towels and hairdryer will be provided to you. Second bedroom also available to book under separate listing. If traveling with children and you are in need of travel crib - please request ahead of time, it can be provided. You will have access to all the common spaces during your stay. KITCHEN fully equipped (stove, refrigerator, microwave) is available for your use. Delicious meals can be provided for a small fee. LIVING ROOM Comfy couch and satellite TV are available for you to enjoy during you stay. Large fireplace (real wood) creates cozy / romantic atmosphere during cold wintery evenings. OUTDOOR AREA Plenty of outdoor space to enjoy a game of badminton (play set available). Koi pond, green grass, flower garden, veggie garden, barbecue area - all create a homey stay. There is a large space to park your car behind the gates, so it is safe. My mom Anna will be your host, she will assure you have a pleasant stay. She is very attentive and will help you with anything you may need. Mom works, but will be available to you when home - may you need her. She does not speak English, so if you do not speak Slovak or basic Russian all the communication will go via AirBnb - me :) Dačov Lom is a small village sitting in a picturesque countryside. Modry Kamen (20 min car/bus ride) - Smallest town in Slovakia, with majestic ruins of the 17th castle ruins sitting in a Chesnut forest is home to the only Marionette and toy museum in Slovakia. Check the dates for Chesnut festival in October. Velky Krtis (25mins by car) - District city, where the hospital, major bus station, car rental and grocery stores are available. Dolná Strehová (30 mins by car / bus connection via V.K) - Thermal springs and Hotel Aquatermal. Zvolen - (35 mins by car / direct bus connection) - different district city, Hospital, Shopping centers, Castle, and bus station with international bus lines available. Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (BUD) - 2hrs by car / transfers / not very good bus connection Bratislava / Vienna - (2.5hrs) - Capital city / Airports Best way to get around is by car. Car rental is available in near cities. Public bus transport (not frequent, but reliable and cheap) is accessible from three bus stops in the village. One is on the main road - access to long distance busses, two in the village are mainly for the buses within the district. Private transfer to cities like Modry Kamen, Velky Krtis, Krupina, Zvolen can be arranged for a small fee. Airport transfer to Budapest airport (2 hrs away) can be arranged via transfer company.
