Typical house in Alentejo

Casa na Aldeia is a small typical Alentejo house, restored respecting the original architecture. Inside everything is very comfortable, practical and unique. In the small patio, outside, you will feel at peace, as in a small oasis.   Albernoa is a village located in one of the most beautiful areas of the Low Alentejo, next to excellent roads, 1:30 from Spain, the Algarve or the west Atlantic coast.   It is a place without pretension, calm, humble and authentic, full of humanity! Typical house located in Alentejo, for 4 people. In a small typical village of Alentejo, Albernoa, where traditions are still present and where life flows slowly. This is a place without pretension, calm, humble and authentic, full of humanity. From Albernoa you can visit an area rich in historic villages, fluvial beaches, admire the typical landscapes adorned with olive or cork oaks, observe the steppe birds, some species are preserved.... and many many other things The house has a living room with a sofa bed, reversible air conditioning (summer-winter), and a mezzanine with a double bed. The bedroom has two single beds, including one of them in a mezzanine. There is two bathroom, one inside with shower, toilets,and the other outside where is the washing machine . The kitchen has a table, fridge, microwave, coffee maker,toaster, radio and all you need to cook. Outside there is a lovely patio,it can welcome you for long evenings and friendly aperitifs. By the way, this place is available for smoker, you can find there an ashtray, the house being non-smoking. And you also will find two annexes,( one is the outside bathroom with toilets and the washing machine, beware there is no hot water there) the other is closed, it contains some personal effects. Stay in the house as you want, now it’s your place. The house is accessible to you in its totality and we hope that you will feel like home. Even if I won't be here to welcome you, a trusted friend will be there to give you the house's keys or you will be able to take it on the coffeeshop ( and grab a typical Portuguese coffee on the way ! ). In any case I will be reachable any time by phone or via airbnb app. On the keychain you will have 3 keys: the front door, the back door (entrance and exit through the patio) the kitchen door. WARNING: never close the kitchen door without having the keys in hand, you will not be able to return in the house !! In Albernoa you will find some services like: - a café restaurant "SaborAlentejano" where you really have to go, you can eat there (just warn before) or have a drink or a coffee - a mini supermarket - a hairdresser - the village church, - a cheese factory, Alentejo is a region of charm, history and culture. A place where time goes slowly, to have time to be happy. You will need a private car in order to enjoy all Alentejo and visit all the historic villages around, the fluvial beaches and many many other places. Children are under your responsibility, some places in this typical house might be to avoid for small children (stairs or mezzanines, for example). Mezzanines are dangerous for small children, please dont let them alone or without surveillance.
