The Coach House
Charming 2 bedroom apartment ideally located for the fantastic Irthlingborough Lakes and Meadows and Stanwick Lakes both in walking distance and havens for a vast array of wildlife. The new Rushden Lakes development and Waitrose is less than 3 miles away. Set in a Victorian coach house, this recently refurbished first floor apartment has a spacious main bedroom with a very comfortable king size bed; a very good night's sleep is waiting for you! A second bedroom has a comfy single bed. All bedding, towels and extra blankets are provided. A hairdryer is in the main bedroom. There is a shower room with toiletries. A fully -equipped kitchen includes microwave, kettle, toaster, cooker, dishwasher, iron and board. We provide breakfast ingredients (eggs, bread, spreads, muesli, juice, tea, coffee & milk) to make your own breakfast on your first morning. The apartment benefits from wifi, a small Bluetooth speaker and Smart TV where you can access your Netflix and Amazon Prime accounts if you have them. There is a roomy lounge to relax in with a corner sofa, dining table and chairs and coffee table. You probably won't need anything else, but if you do please ask! We will do our best to ensure you have a comfortable stay. You will have your own key to the building and to your first floor apartment. We aim to meet and greet our guests and are available for information about the local area or if needed for anything. If we are out the key can be accessed via a keysafe box. Although we will be around during the day you will be left in private as the flat is in a separate detached building. The neighbourhood has fantastic walks, off-road cycle paths and is great for nature lovers, bird watchers and ramblers. We provide details of local walks and interesting places to visit within a very short distance. The property is very conveniently located with road links to larger towns and delightful local villages with charming pubs. There is a bus service to local towns; details can be provided. The property has very close walking access to the high street with a small range of shops, pubs and takeaways. A short drive to Higham Ferrers, an old market town, Rushden with Waitrose and the Rushden Lakes development with a Marks and Spencers and many restaurants, coffee shops and an outdoor activities centre. Kettering is about 7 miles away. In the summer months you are welcome to use the terrace garden to the side of the property. We provide a Welcome tray on arrival which includes snacks. Toiletries (shower soap, shampoo and hand soap) and dishwasher tablets are provided. Please note that all major supermarkets deliver to the area, so you can arrange to have an order delivered on your arrival. If you are visiting with young children please contact us so that we can ensure the flat is suitably prepared. Children are very welcome. Unfortunately we do not provide baby equipment such as a cot or high chair so you will need to bring your own, if required. The flat is up fairly steep stairs. Grab rails and a bannister help if guests find this difficult.
