Slemish Farm Cottage arranged over two floors and finished to a high spec is a luxurious home from home. Located in an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' at the 'Gateway to the Glens of Antrim', the cottage is ideal for guests planning to explore the stunning North Coast, is 3 miles from the award winning village of Broughshane & 30 miles from Belfast. It is also perfect for those who simply want to relax in the countryside, enjoy the spectacular view of Slemish and escape the everyday madness This cottage has 1 reception room, 2 bedrooms, 2 shower rooms, 1 kitchen/dining room and a games room which has a full size pool table and various board games for our guests' entertainment. Private parking is available adjacent to the cottage. The Cottage can easily cater for up to two couples and the largest bedroom has a double sofa-bed which can accommodate 2 children. The cottage also has a travel cot to facilitate baby guests. Guests have access to private parking and a private area to the left of the cottage. As the cottage is adjacent to our family home we are available to help with any queries. Please also note that the cottage is located on a working farm and the farm-yard is not accessible to guests. The Family Room upstairs in the cottage has a king-size bed and a sofa bed (suitable for maximum of 2 small children). The cottage is located in a beautiful rural area with stunning views of Slemish mountain and is an excellent base for guests who wish to explore the scenic wonders of County Antrim and beyond. A 10 minute drive takes you to Glenarm village, an excellent starting point for a picturesque journey along the North Antrim coastline. 'Game of Thrones' enthusiasts can easily travel to numerous nearby film locations, Carnlough Harbour, Shillnavogie Valley, the Dark Hedges & Cushendall Caves to name but a few. The Cottage is close to a local pub, The Halfway House and a short distance to the The Thatch Inn and numerous coffee shops/amenities in Broughshane Village. For those who want to travel further, a 35 minute drive will take you to either Portrush or Belfast. The Cottage is an easy 15 minute drive to Ballymena Train and Bus Centre where guests can park for free and jump on either a train or bus for a 40 minute journey to Belfast or the beautiful North Coast. The cottage is seperate from but is located on a working farm, please note that guests do not have access to the farm yard.
