Caranco's boutique house, a unique place

Casa Caranco is a paradise to live in, to enjoy and to leave inspired on every visit. Casa Caranco, offers the possibility to move to the 19th century, oak and walnut floors, original windows and doors, recovered walls and tiles and a cinema environment where, whether it is sunny or grey, the greens are greener and the cow bells hypnotize. Casa Caranco also offers all the comforts of the 21st century. For us, the symbiosis is perfect. Casa Caranco has its origin in the union of its owners, who have a long history in the world of cultural management, luxury and antiques, this synergy has created a unique space that starts from the questioning of where luxury is going when we talk about Hospitality, beauty as a cultural object, is present in pieces from different centuries that inspire continuous creation and thought. A few kilometres from the geographical centre of Cantabria (40 minutes by car from Santander and 400 km from Madrid), the house was built in the mid-19th century by a local family returning from Cuba. One hundred years later, in the middle of the 20th century, with the political changes, it became the village bakery (in the living room, part of the bricks that formed the oven are still preserved) and in the following decades, several families have continued to pass through the house until a few years ago, the transformation began that has turned this beautiful building and its orchard definitively into Casa Caranco.
