Our cozy 1 bedroom apartment is 20 min from San Francisco, 35 min to Wine Country, 10 min to the Ferry, 45 min to the beach and just 6 blocks to downtown San Rafael. Perfect for two with full kitchen, bedroom, living room and deck, plus a view! Spacious, sunny, 1 bedroom apt with full bath, full kitchen, very comfortable queen size bed, cozy living room and an inviting eating area. Wonderful deck with a Bay view and a peaceful backyard. Quiet neighborhood just a 6 blocks from downtown San Rafael with numerous restaurants, shops and public transportation. The apartment is private and has it's own entrance down the steps, on the side of the house toward the backyard. It is a warm and inviting space designed to accommodate longer stays. We let our guests decide how much interaction to have with us and we respect our guests need for privacy. Our apartment is located in a quiet residential neighborhood close to downtown San Rafael with many wonderful restaurants and shops. Although it is walking distance to downtown San Rafael, it is up hill and the last block is somewhat steep. There is some traffic noise on the deck, but the wonderful neighborhood more than compensates for it. The view is beautiful and you can see the Richmond Bridge and the Bay. Public transportation is about 7 blocks from the apartment. You will be able to catch a bus to many locations throughout Marin, Sonoma and San Francisco. A train that will take you to Santa Rosa to the North and to the Larkspur Ferry to San Francisco. The Ferry drops you off at the Ferry Building where you can walk or take a streetcar to Fisherman's Warf, Pier 39 and many wonderful restaurants. I you have a car, Wine country is a 45 minutes away. Mount Tamalpias is a 30 minutes and Stinson Beach is a 40 minute drive. San Francisco is about a 20 minute drive.
