The Snug is a modern self contained compact studio, recently renovated ,situated in a good location in the village of Ullapool, close to all local amenities. The Snug has a double bed (Simba ) ,shower, toilet, TV, ( free view) free WiFi, tea & Nespresso coffee machine, also towels/linen supplied.A small fridge on site. Best suited for couples or singles. The Snug has it’s own private access, recently renovated ,this is our second letting season after a very busy first.Free on street parking anywhere on the main street. Please do not park at the garage ! Access the Snug only, self check-in.Check in from 16.00 & check out 10.00. Iron available upon request as is a fan if required. Myself and my husband live in the house next to the studio ,however we both work so have a self check in option available if we are not around. Local information will be left for all guests and contact details should you need help throughout your stay. The Snug is situated in a lovely quiet neighbourhood with forest/ river walks around. The Golf Club serving a hearty breakfast is a 5 min walk ,the town centre & harbour are a 10 min walk & Bridge House Art is a 2 min walk across the bridge. The Morefield Motel serving food & drink is also a 2 min walk down the road. There are many eateries in the village,a few of my favourites The Frigate,Ceilidh Place ,Dipping Lugger & the award winning Seafood Shack. Ullapool is a small fishing village of around 1500 inhabitants in the Highlands. Despite its small size it is the largest settlement around for many miles and an important port & tourist destination. The North Atlantic drift passes Ullapool, moderating the temperature.Ullapool is also a popular stop off point on the now well renowned NC500 ultimate road trip. A great location for hill climbing, lovely walks & cycle paths. Museum,Leisure Centre ( with pool ) ,supermarket, Post-Office,many restaurants;cafes & bars & also a Visit Scotland Information Centre open all year round. As Ullapool is a small town you can walk to most places, however taxi's are also available and regular buses run to Inverness 7 days a week.It is also the Ferry Port/Terminal to the Isle of Lewis.Information will be left for the local taxi company, buses & ferry services etc. There is also a large car park in the centre of the village. The Snug is accommodation only,no breakfast available at property however lots of options in village.
