It offers 1 x bedroom with King size bed dressed with 400 thread count linen; TV; fully fitted large modern wet room; open plan sitting room with kitchenette and dining area. Wi-Fi throughout. Czech TV stations are available despite a slight misunderstanding in one of our reviews. The Loft is accessed via the courtyard with shared indoor/outdoor pool. Our Czech property manager lives locally and will be on hand to help with everything - including recommendations for ways to see the area. He will happily provide you with information re the historic castle ruins with museum, the river, cycling, walking, fishing, mushroom picking, sightseeing.....or just relaxing! He’s a former national fishing champion! The Loft is in the village of Poresinec, approx 3 miles from our local town of Kaplice, where you will find 2 local supermarkets with daily fresh bread and breakfast pastries; plus a variety of shops and an excellent pizza restaurant! The world famous ancient town of Cesky Krumlov is approx 20 mins drive away; set on the river, its historic spectacular castle dominates the town with its breathtaking cobbled streets and painted buildings. It offers a variety of shops, from traditional crafts through to modern designers, and every sort of dining from cafes, bars, local Czech dining, vegetarian, to fine dining. The Local taxi service, run by our English speaking friend, is inexpensive. He can arrange any transport you need whether locally or a trip to Prague. We can recommend a day spent in Prague before taking an evening flight home, I can recommend a great tour guide.
