The country house Sainte Marie is located south of the Loire Valley by Ardentes in the rural countryside by Château de Villejovet. It is about 15 km southeast of Chateauroux. The property is surrounded by beautiful green landscape with meadows, yellow rapeseed fields and charming vineyards. From Ardentes there is about 100 km to Tours and Blois, the two most well-known and interesting cities in the area. The interior of the main building is tastefully decorated and suitable for all ages. It has two large suites with four-poster beds on the ground floor, one of them next to a room with bunk beds. The large French kitchen has a dining table with space for all the tenants, as well as a cosy living room with fire place, TV and radio. The upstairs has two very large double bedrooms and two bedrooms with twin beds. The yard and garden adjoin the river Indre (120m away from the house), where there is fishing permission for 3 km. In the garden you will find a beach volley and badminton lane, and a basket ball hoop and if you want to relax, you can enjoy the sun on the terrace by the gorgeous swimming pool in front of the main building. In one of the extensions to the farm, there is a large sandpit where the toddlers can play and a table tennis is also available. In the former staff annex you will find laundry facilities including a tumble drier. Private double garage is available for parking. Sainte Marie is a traditional French farmhouse (without animals), and there may be a bit of traffic for agricultural purposes especially during the harvest period (tractors).
