Log Cabin directly at Lake Tollense with Row Boat

The cabin has a living room (13' x 20') with a queen-size convertible sofa. From here you have a very beautiful view of the lake. The bedchamber contains a double bed. The small kitchen contains a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and washing machine. There's a bathroom with toilet and shower. Heat is supplied by a fan heater and an infrared heater. The place is a relic from the GDR (Communist East Germany). Functionaries spent their vacations here. We put in new windows and completed the rustic furniture with an Ikea sofa. From the terrace you can enjoy beautiful sunsets over the lake. On windless days the sky reflects in the lake which, on windy days can have waves. Behind the house is a wicker beach chair for breakfast in the morning sun. Here you can watch rare birds from the sanctuary, take bike rides or go for beautiful walks. From the terrace you can walk down to the lake. A row boat is tied to the landing stage, you can use it for boat rides on the lake. On the platform at the far end of the landing stage you can sit surrounded by reeds. If you want to got for a swim you have to walk through the reeds. Many ferrous springs run into the lake, causing irridescent spots on the paths or in the water. They are natural deposits from the spring water. A shopping center is 5 km away. In the supermarket you get fresh fish from the lake. Two excellent restaurants are in walking distance. One is 10, the other 20 minutes away. If you want to catch a movie or go to a bar I recommend the „Kachelofenfabrik“ in Neustrelitz.
