Central in Montrose and close to shops, restaurants, services, golf course, the sea and two wonderful big beaches, (Lunan bay and St Cyrus beach); local kids' parks, great views, touristic places to visit regionally, hill-walking, plus several good restaurants and eating possibilities. This is a listed building from the Regency era, The rooms are spatious and elegant. The owner has furnished it with furniture that is in keeping with the period. The apartment is comfortable and kept very clean. Guests have the use of the apartment including the 3 double bedrooms, kitchen, 1 shower / WC, 1 large bathroom, the snug room, and the sitting room. Please note that two small stores plus the owners' room are off-limit, but this does not detract significantly from the great space and facility of the apartment. The owner is generally in the area to be called upon if necessary. The apartment occupies a traditional "close" in Montrose, being one of four homes using a common entrance-way from the highstreet. All the facilities of a rural town are available, including supermarkets, shops, medical centre, pharmacy, banks, restaurants, cafes, bars, sporting facilities, swimming, golf, tennis, parks for kids and adults, fantastic beaches and seaside walks, and further afield, countryside activities. The apartment is very central in Montrose, and is conveniently adjacent to busses, trains, and Council operated car parks. There is disabled parking very close by. There are daytime time-restrictions on parking in the High Street (note that free parking in the High Street is from 05.30pm to 0830am; and Sunday is free and not restricted). You can unload/load in the High Street. There are "pay for" car parks locally, and/ or you can find free street-parking within a short distance of the property . The entrance to the apartment is at the second floor. There is good light in the apartment, with a fine view of the sea estuary on one side and the town on the other. The property has a large garden which can be accessed by guests.
