You can also walk there on the many hiking trails. The Lauragais is located between 4 departments: the Haute Garonne with Toulouse and its Cité de l'Espace (distance 20 kms) or Revel (distance 28 kms), medieval bastide with its famous belfry market or its Lac de Saint beach -Ferréol (classified as World Heritage of Humanity by Unesco), Aude and its City of Carcassonne (distance 80 kms, classified as World Heritage by Unesco), Ariège (distance 50 kms) its walks in the mountains and its medieval castles, the Tarn and its Medieval City Cordes sur Ciel (distance 80 kms), Albi and its Episcopal City (distance 80 kms) or even the mountain range of the Black Mountain which separates the departments of Tarn from the 'Hérault, Aude and Haute-Garonne.
