Practical details: - Jambiani /Mfumwi village has very small shops with very basic essentials. There is a new super market in Paje called The Village Market. I would suggest that you stock up on basics when coming through Paje. (milk, waters, beers, cash (as atm is sometimes empty and a bit of a drive into Paje), snacks, etc) - Not many places take credit cards so it is good to have shillings on you. Most of the restaurants are accessed through the village or along the beach - A good idea to take a torch for your walk home. Zanzibar has a wealth of activities to satisfy a wide variety of tastes. We can send a taxi from Jambiani to pick you up at the airport (45 km 28 miles ) for $40/50 for the ride. Car rental is also an option for about $30 per day.
