Welcome to one of the many pages of Huize Hens! Vosselaar, a small peaceful village with many cycling and walking routes, lakes and nature reserves in the nearby area. Good public transport to the surrounding cities such as Turnhout, Antwerp and Hoogstraten. ATTENTION THIS IS THE MAIN PROFILE! You must always book through the respective pages. Take a look around and if you want something I would like to hear from you. Always welcome! Huize Hens has several options. This page is for private room with private shower. This is the "main profile" given the extensive information. May I kindly ask you to read the full profile so that no misunderstandings arise and I * can be of full service to you Be welcome! Note: - You can also find us on F B because my calendars are often closed and so things are often not bookable. Send me a message and I will see what I can do for you. - Given that I am repeatedly asked questions about this: I cannot and will not accept bookings organized outside the AirBnB site. Needless to ask this question. This website hides in chats, often rightly, all kinds of information (£). - I think I can state that I offer an extremely good price / quality. Know that AirBnB is tricky, even if guests give quite a few stars ... Do you take this into account when evaluating your stay? I hope for your understanding. The staircase, the toilet and your room are always accessible after check-in. There are 3 rooms available on the 1st floor and 1 attic room. On the 1st floor is a kitchen, bathroom with toilet and shower and a living room for shared use. Note, the living room can also be booked. This is therefore only accessible if it is not booked. The spacious garden and (secured) parking facilities for cars, motorbikes and bicycles are also always accessible. Additionally there are 2 lounges, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, storage room and garage on the ground floor. This is my private. Know that if I * (or my family / friends *) are present, the door between the hall and my private area is usually open. In that case, feel free to come to me. By the way, I * always try to be at home during your presence so that I * can be of the best possible service. Note: I have usually blocked the room calendars. if you are interested send me a message with the dates, the space and your questions. I will try to answer your question as quickly as possible and will make a proposal if possible. Other rooms: Small Attic, Room with shared bathroom, NEW The living room Do you want to try something completely different? I have a suggestion! Rent my camper instead of a room or even stronger, camp in our garden. A while ago, two Dutch ladies exchanged the booked room for the camper when they saw it in my garden. A 'crazy' idea? Could be. Anyway, if I can make people happy, everything is fine for me :-) For more information about this weird idea, send a message Access for guests: Upon arrival you ring the bell at the front door. During your stay you can always go in and out without disturbing other guests. How? Explanation upon arrival. After checking in, entrance hall with toilet and on the first floor the bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and if not rented, also a living room are always accessible. The rest of the house is my private part. My kitchen, living room, bathroom and garage are only accessible if we (*) are present. Of course we (*) always try to be present during your stay to provide you with the best possible service. Interaction with guests: Above all, be yourself. Do you want to cook in the kitchen on the 1st floor or if possible together with us in the kitchen on the ground floor or do you want to make it a pleasant evening with us? Please do! Belgian beer, wine or rather coffee / tea? Perfect! Are you tired and want some rest? Feel free to go to your private room. Vosselaar, a small village in the Kempen with its "Konijnenberg" (nature reserve) is located near Turnhout, the city of playing cards. Provincial domain De Lilse Bergen. Forests with walking and cycling routes in all directions. A little further: Kasterlee with its Kabouterberg and many restaurants. Bobbejaanland (amusement park), "Molse lakes", "Kalmthoutse Heide". Do you prefer crowds and less green? Antwerp, the metropolis might be something for you (35 km). The Netherlands; Baarle Hertog / Nassau, Breda, Tilburg and Eindhoven are also not far. Well, there is so much ... come take a look and feel free to ask me for more information. An extensive travel guide can be found behind this link: https://www.airbnb.com/s/guidebooks?refinement_paths.02 In the beautiful quiet village of Vosselaar there are no parking problems. Parking in the street, in front of the house or in the enclosed garden and garage is always possible. Various bus lines between Turnhout (5 km - 10 min) and Antwerp (35 km - 1 hour) pass close to our house. Both cities have good train connections. In Antwerp the buses leave from the Franklin Roosevelt place. In Turnhout in front of the train station. Bus lines 415, 416 and 417 stop at "Vosselaar Dorp" and "Beerse Heibergstraat". Bus number 410 also in the middle of the 2 previously mentioned. The bus stop is called "Vosselaar Dennendreef", the closest bus stop. Please have a look on the internet for the most recent information about public transportation! Experience shows that there are regular changes. Giving more details here really doesn't work and links that would help be erased by this website ... Occasionally, also in the chats. Hence my earlier comment (£). IMPORTANT COMMENTS: All beds, including the pull-out beds, are equipped with sound mattresses. So you don't have to worry about ending up in a poor bed, even if you book a room with 2 people. Mind you, the free space is more limited when you switch off the double beds - of course. Since the whole house is in principle accessible to everyone, I (*) always try to be present. Know that because of my busy schedule it is possible that not me but my family or friends will welcome you and can accommodate my absence. Breakfast is not included in the price. For short stays (<3 nights) breakfast is possible. Supplement 10 Euros per person per day to be paid on arrival. Other meals are not possible. Know that the kitchen on the 1st floor is always available for self-cooking. Do you need airport transportation, bicycle rental or other things? Indicate your needs in time, I will try to find suitable solutions. Also good to know: - Wifi is fast, unlimited everywhere, even in the garden. Request the codes and connect your mobile phone, PC or tablet. - The stairs from 1st to 2nd floor are steep, keep this in mind! Again, may I kindly ask you to clearly inform me about all your wishes when you make your booking. In this way I can view all options, provide feedback to you and prepare optimally. My goal is to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We try (*) to do the (impossible) possible, miracles take a little longer. Welcome!
