Quiet but centrally located, newly renovated old building apartment with charm and open living-dining area. Only 5 minutes walking distance to the Bamberg Cathedral. With a wonderful view of the cathedral and the old town of Bamberg, a fully equipped kitchen with kitchen island, Smart TV with Netflix, a double bed in the large bedroom and a couch as well as a newly renovated bathroom with bathtub. less than 10 minutes walking distance to the old city. The apartment was renovated in 2019. The charm of the old building is nevertheless preserved. The parquet floors, may creak and not everything is "perfect straight", but that is exactly what makes the apartment, what it is. An open living/dining area with a large kitchen island, the living area with Smart TV and Netflix, the newly renovated little bathroom with bathtub and a spacious bedroom offer high comfort. We live here ourselves and rent out the apartment during our absence. Therefore, in most cases we cannot be personally present at the check in. The entire apartment is available for guests. Except the office room where we keep our personal belongings. This will be locked. There are also no pictures of this room. If you have any questions, I am always at your disposal. On the way to the beautiful old town you pass the landmark of Bamberg. The cathedral. Don't miss to stop by the brewery "Schlenkerla" in the Sandstraße (10 min walk) for a fine smoked beer and enjoy the delicious hearty Franconian cuisine in one of the numerous restaurants and breweries. A few meters away from the apartment you can find one of the oldest Restaurants in Bamberg with a great beer garden. In the other direction you can take a great walk to the Altenburg. Where the Castle and a great view is waiting for you. There is a Bus station 100m away.
