ED Refnr. 2769296 Lovely holiday house with a panoramic view of the lake and the forested hills by the Bitburg reservoir lake This detached holiday house is on the edge of a forest within a little holiday house complex by the Bitburg reservoir lake in Biersdorf am See. The bungalow was renovated in 2015 and is accessed up 29 steps that are not steep. This accommodation of around 78m² provides ample space for a maximum of four people. The kitchen is equipped with a convection oven, a fridge with a freezer compartment, an induction hob, a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. There is an adjoining dining space for four people with a direct view of the lake. The living room, open towards the dining room up five steps, opens onto the 24m² partially roofed terrace. The living room has a sofa, two armchairs, a 40” flatscreen TV and a fireplace, which exudes cosiness and warmth during the cold season. There are two bedrooms, one with two single beds (90cm wide) next to each other and an additional 40” flatscreen TV, the other with two separate single beds (90cm wide). The bathroom has a bath, WC, washbasin, makeup mirror and a hairdryer. The bedrooms and the bathroom are separated from the living and dining room by an internal door. A child’s travel bed can be provided free of charge on request. All the rooms except the kitchen have night storage heating with room thermostats. The two bedrooms, the living room, the dining space and the terrace afford a direct view of the lake. You can spend balmy summer evenings on the partially roofed terrace facing south-west, with a great view of the lake below. Two relaxation loungers and a garden suite invite you to sunbathe and relax. There is also a charcoal grill. You can purchase firewood from us or bring your own. Free parking spaces are available within the holiday house complex. Well-behaved pets are welcome. The Bitburg reservoir lake in Biersdorf am See is the tourist centre of the southern Eifel. It is a popular destination in the Bitburger Land holiday region both for locals and holiday visitors. A wide range of active or relaxing recreational activities provide a good basis for your holiday. Right by the lake you can hire pedalos, hike on signposted paths, stroll along the lakeside promenade, go cycling, fishing or visit children’s playgrounds. You can have a snack or a drink on the lakeside terrace or in the pavilion at ‘Ferdis Bootshaus’ and enjoy the fresh Eifel air. You can use various amenities at the Dorint-Seehotel and resort about 400 metres away (e.g. 25-metre indoor pool, squash, tennis, bowling etc.), or play golf at the nearby Bitburger Land golf resort in Wißmannsdorf (about 5km away). There are various places of interest nearby, such as game parks, museums, dinosaur park, devil’s gorge etc. Trier, the oldest town in Germany, and the neighbouring Luxembourg are also within easy access and worth a trip.
