Cozy Cottage - Waterskiing Beach Lake in Drenthe

Cozy modern Cottage next to Waterskiing and activity Beach Lake in Drenthe. We found this kids friendly cottage located at the Ermerstrand recreational park and immediately fell in love. Our boys love the water park, waterslide, wakeboarding and paintball. We build the wood fired hottub, to ensure we relax here in wintertime too. Year round, we enjoy listening to the birds surrounding the cottage. For group bookings there is minimum age of 25 yrs. The cottage is has been renovated to the highest standards, we now have bright modern bathroom with rain shower, a separated toilet. Modern kitchen with dishwasher, combi-oven, steam-oven and large gas stove to ensure you can cook fantastic meals for your friends or family. We have fitted the cottage with high quality boxspring beds, to ensure both we and our guest will enjoy a good night sleep. The cottage is fitted for 6 people, and is equipped with additional high chair for babies or toddler. The garden is equipped with a wood fired hot-tub, which is a once in a life-time experience. To ensure your stay will be totally convenient and at ease during your holiday, we have a personal host who will welcome you during the check-in. Hand you the keys, show you around and demonstrate all the equipment. Since we understand, some of you will have travelled a long way, so our host will ensure the beds are prepared with fresh bedlinen, towels ready in the bathroom for a needed warm shower. All you need to do is relax and enjoy the beautiful Dutch landscape. The Ermerstrand park is unique, since it has so many things to do for guests of all ages. The youngest will enjoy playing the white sand, running through the shallow clean water, or making friends in the indoor or outdoor playgrounds. The older ones, will have a blast climbing, fishing, paintball, mountain biking, waterskiiing, wakeboard, or riding the 70 m outdoor water slide. (over-and-over-again) Our cottage can only be reached by car. Unfortunately there is limited public transportation facilities in this remote part of our country. Please ensure you bring your groceries, since the nearest supermarket is the AH supermarket in Sleen, which is about 5 minutes drive by car. Please note we are being asked by the park management to set a minimum age limit of 25 years for group bookings. This means our home is mostly suitable for families with kids and groups of up to six people all above the age of 25 years. We do not allow pets into our cottage. Please be very careful with the wood fire!! The cottage is made of wooden walls and thatched roof, so very vulnerable. Please keep your open fire composed and under control! We will have 2 bikes on our garage, ready for guests to use free of charge.
