The Hayloft, Becklands Stables, Barnoldby Le Beck
The Hayloft forms part of Becklands Stables. It has recently be restored and refurbished to provide holiday accommodation for up to 6 people. Located on the outskirts of the Lincolnshire Wolds, a perfect setting for amblers, cyclists, bird watchers and the like, with some of the most stunning scenery and a delightful local pub, The Ship Inn. The location is within walking distance to the small village of Waltham, with a number of small shops and takeaways and just a short drive to Cleethorpes. This holiday let is a first floor converted Hayloft built originally circa 1850 as an outbuilding to Becklands Stables. The building has been sympathetically restored retaining many of the original roof beams and full height ceilings. There is an open plan living area, with two sofas (one of which is a bed settee), tv, dining area, kitchen (with fridge/freezer, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, breakfast bar). Two additional bedrooms, one of which has a king size bed, the other is a twin which can be made up to a super king if required). Bathroom, with electric shower. Downstairs there is a private heated lobby entrance leading to the staircase with storage space for cycles. There is also a hot tub (please bring your towels & flip flops), seating area & a bbq in a secluded spot of the owner’s yard, accessible directly from The Hayloft. Access to The Hayloft is via it’s own private entrance lobby, with a heated area to hang coats, remove shoes and store your cycles. The yard belonging to Becklands Stables (with direct access from The Hayloft), has a secluded spot with hot tub and sitting area We do live on site On the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, the village of Barnoldby Le Beck has just the one pub offering delightful food in a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The Hayloft itself, has views across horse fields. The next village along is Waltham, with an array of small shops and a must see, is a visit to Waltham Windmill. Approximately 6 miles away is Cleethorpes beach. On foot, cycle, car or there is a local bus route from the village of Waltham, which is only a 10 minute walk The access lane is also used by the farmers to access the local fields, so you must not block the lane at any time. Please ensure that you park in the designated parking area. You will need to provide your own towels & flip flops for the hot tub.
