Unique farm - Natural house in whale spirit

We would like to invite you to our unique natural house in the spirit of whale for up to 14 people with four rooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a big living room providing direct access to a terrace with outside seating and nice view of our natural pond and surrounding pastures. The house has a large garden, playground and sandpit, goals for mini-soccer, BBQ and other equipment. The house has a small ecological farm; here you will find sheeps, rabbits, ducks, hens, fish and a border collie. You will have the entire four room house at your disposal. The first room - the Buddha’s Room - has an area of 20 m2 with a double bed; it is possible to add up to 2 extra beds for children. The second room - The Room in the Spirit of the Whale - has an area of 15 m2 with a double bed. The third room - the Red Car Room - has an area of 14 m2 with two single beds and a bunk bed. The fourth room - the Václav Havel's Room - has an area of 13 m2 with two single beds. When required, the single beds can be converted into double beds. In the living room there is a sofa that can be converted to another double bed. There is also an oven, a large dining table and a fully equipped kitchen (dishes, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, microwave, etc.). The living room provides direct access to a wooden terrace with outside seating and beautiful views of our natural pond and the surrounding pastures. The blissful silence is complemented by the sounds of animals and an occasional passing train on the horizon, which depicts the unique atmosphere. With a little imagination, the passing trains can symbolize the flowing thoughts that come and go, just like a train. And we have the opportunity to simply observe them. In the evening you will be able to enjoy a beautiful sunset and dark night sky with shining stars. At the house there is a large garden, playground and sandpit for kids, goals for mini-soccer, BBQ, in the summer also a trampoline and a ping-pong table. A part of the premises is also a small ecological farm – here you will find sheep, rabbits, goats, ducks, hens, fish and a border collie. There is a Wi-Fi, a TV set, 3 bookcases and a box full of games. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. We are able to provide a baby cot and a baby chair upon request. There is a free parking right next to the house for up to 4 cars. The entire premises of the eco-farm are located on the outskirts of the village Kamenné Zboží, near the spa town of Poděbrady. It takes 35-45 minutes to get there from Prague by train or by car. The house has a self-service accommodation system thanks to a lockable key box. Only the entire premises can be rented. We have a 7-seater van available - we offer trips within the region or transport from/to the airport in Prague by arrangement. In the summer season, we offer a transfer to the Orlík dam for a fee with the possibility to take a sailing trip. When required we will be happy to buy you a healthy breakfast that will be ready for you in the fridge. Garden, natural pond and a chill zone for relaxing. I will be happy to give you tips regarding your programme. It will make us happy if you feel good and relaxed at our place. It takes 35 minutes to get there from Prague by car (take the D11 motorway to the exit Lysá nad Labem or Nymburk) and 55 minutes by train (the stop is located 5 minutes from the house and the train runs every hour). There is a small store and a pub in the village. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking or cycling trips. It takes only a few kilometres across the Elbe river to get into the wild. There are beautiful forests in Kersko (the Bohumil Hrabal's educational trail), a hunting lodge, a healing water spring and the sand dune in Písty. Mushrooms and blackberries can be picked when the season is right. There are also many natural swimming pools in the area: Sadská, Kostomlátky, Doubrava or the Poděbrady lake.Activities: the spa town of Poděbrady, the historic town of Nymburk, Mirakulum in Milovice, the Chleby Zoo, the Košík farm, the outdoor museum in Přerov nad Labem, the Loučeň castle, the Radim castle. During the year we offer seasonal home crops and fresh eggs. In the village you can buy homemade honey, potatoes, garlic, cow milk, cheese and meat. When you make a last minute reservation, i.e. 12 hours before the scheduled arrival, please note that in the low season the hot water boiler will have to switch on at a preset time, which may take several hours.
