A short 1.9 miles to downtown and 2.1 miles to Sanford Stadium. Our stylish 3 bedroom/ 2 bath cottage - built in September 2019 - is everything you need for a great visit to Athens! Located in Normaltown, the cottage is situated on treelined streets with sidewalks to several great restaurants and bars. We are a short Uber to the stadium or downtown, though we've definitely walked downtown many times (stopping at our favorite Normaltown places along the way!). #normaltowncottage We’ve created a simplistic, beautiful space that is clutter free, and best of all, it’s a dedicated guest cottage so you’re not sleeping in someone else’s bed! Our keypad check-in/out allows for easy access. If you don’t need us, you won’t see us! We live on the property in the main house so if we are needed we can be available pretty quickly, otherwise, we want you to have your privacy. Text is perfect for any questions during your stay. We are walking distance to great local restaurants (Automatic Pizza, HiLo, Aqua Linda, Marti’s at Midday), bars (Normal Bar, HiLo, Old Pal), coffee shops (Sips), Piedmont Hospital, and Bishop Park (Farmers Market on Saturday’s!). It’s a short 1.9 miles to downtown and 2.1 miles to Sanford Stadium. Walk or bike to popular Normaltown and Boulevard restaurants, bars, and cafes. Grab an Uber to downtown and walk to the stadium through scenic North Campus! We know how important a good nights sleep is and are happy to provide Tuft & Needle mattress’s for two out of three beds. The twin bed is a memory foam Ikea mattress.
