It is located a few mins drive to the beach...restaurants and shops. The river walks are very close by. It has safe parking for cars and boat. The en suite dormitory sleeps five and has its own tv..fridge..microwave. ..kettle and crockery....mini kitchen. Minimum of two night booking for this house. It's a popular kitesurfers hotspot and also for fishermen. We have whales in the bay between May and October. There is the World Heritage Site De Hoop nature reserve nearby which makes a great day trip. Hiking, cycling and bird watching are popular also. There is plenty to do in and around Witsand, so book a couple of nights and explore the area. There us no public transport in Witsand, so self drive is best. Once here...you walk to beach...river..restaurants etc if you dont want to drive. There is a water sports adventure centre in the village. Three shops...two close at 5pm. Three restaurants. Boat hire or river trips available. To avoid extra card costs, please pay by bank transfer or bring cash.
