Brand New Cottage, Even Better Views!

Our brand new South Shore second story fully private home has wonderful lake views, features two bedrooms and one bathroom and can easily, comfortably sleep 6-8 guests. The bright white kitchen has all the amenities one would expect with the bonus of lake views. The extra large bunk-room is filled with natural light and features four beds, an oversized sectional couch, and internet connected LCD TV. The cottage is steps from a large public access dock. We welcome you to the relaxing Lake!!! Our brand new South Shore, second story home has wonderful lake views, amenities, and light-filled space. We feature two bedrooms, one shower/tub bathroom, and can easily, comfortably sleep 6-8 guests. There are two private entrances. The bright white kitchen features quartz countertops, full sized fridge, cooktop stove and oven, and all the amenities one would expect. we have added additional prep and dining space with seating. Large windows overlook the lake with another table and sitting area to take in the beautiful views of the lake. In addition to the bedroom with a queen bed and walk-in closet, the extra large bunk room is filled with more natural light and lake views, four beds, an oversized sectional couch and internet connected TV. We have books, games, puzzles, movies, and X-Box Wii. The cottage comes fully furnished and plush linens and towels will be provided. Additionally, we would be happy to provide complimentary breakfast items and a selection of coffees and teas with Keurig and drip coffee machines available to compliment your stay. The cottage is steps from a large public access dock where you are welcome to fish, swim, or try your hand at our paddle board. We supply beach towels and sunscreen. There is a grill, backyard with a Firepit, outdoor seating and available lawn games. You may have full and private access to the porch with Weber Grill, table and seating for your entire group. Relax with your feet up on comfortable sofa seating overlooking the water. We are located on a very quiet street. We have instant-on, unlimited hot water, whole house water softening and Titan systems, and filtered drinking water. Also included; high-speed cable wireless internet (WiFi), high definition digital over the air local and affiliate national channels, On-Demand internet connected streaming services, LCD TV in bunk room. Master bedroom has digital TV with Chromecast. On-site uncovered multiple parking spaces in addition to the garage and driveway are available. Washer and dryer are available upon request. Additionally, we have an 8 person pontoon boat available for rent by the hour or by the day (rates available upon request) The boat is located on the public access dock across the street from the house on a reserved private boat lift. The boat has a 50hp outboard motor and comfortably and safely has a 6-8 person capacity. The boat is perfect for fishing and cruising the lake and has navigation lights for cruising past dusk / dawn. We will provide instructions prior to your first outing and show you all the features of the boat. The boat will come with a full tank of gas and should be returned with a full tank of gas. Guests will have access to the entirely private, second story home and off street parking. Our guests can use all the amenities of the cottage, inside and outside. The home can be accessed by an exterior staircase and/or an interior garage staircase and will use digital code locks to gain entry. Guests will access the space using digital code locks. The code will be provided once booking is confirmed at least three days prior to arrival. Check-out time is 11am. Late check-out may be an option, based on availability. The neighborhood is very quiet with mostly golf cart and walking traffic. Downtown Clear Lake is direct across the lake from the cottage. It is just under 4 miles by car and less by boat with a more direct route across the lake. Visit our online store for the best local coffee shipped directly to you - clearlak (Website hidden by Airbnb) State Park is within walking distance and features a sandy public beach, picnic facilities, grills, and tables. We are also within walking distance to PM Park with indoor and outdoor restaurant seating and a popular Tiki Bar. Oakwood Grocery and the Sweet Spot are just a couple of blocks away for ice cream treats, pizza takeout (delicious!), and necessities. They are open seasonally. Two, privately operated RV parks are just a few minutes walks from the cottage and are popular during the summer months. Clear Lake Boats is adjacent to PM Park where you can purchase gas for your watercraft as well as rent boats and jet skis; during the summer months, we offer our 8 person pontoon boat for an additional fee, if interested please ask for details. We are a pet-friendly space, we do professionally clean and sanitize the space after each guest's departure. The pet fee is $39 and is on a per reservation basis; one fee covers the entire stay and up to three pets. We are located just off South Shore Drive (the ring road around the lake) just across the lake from downtown approx 1.5 nautical miles straight line, by boat, and approx 3 statute miles by street. We have plenty of off-street parking. Feel free to park in front of the garage and to either side as well. Overflow parking on the side yard and in our neighbors long driveway on the south side (please check with Kathy or Zach on that availability). The cottage and surrounding neighborhood are connected to a well-water source like many places in the State of Iowa. The water is tested and is perfectly safe for domestic use. We utilize a new whole-home water softening system and Titan Rust removal system. The water is filtered throughout the home. We are pet friendly and have a one time fee, per reservation of $39. Limit two pets, must have up to date vaccinations and be under 75 lb.
