We call the house Godspocket, it is just magical and you truly switch off when you arrive. It is located on the Wild Atlantic Way. It is a very comfy has sea views and is truly a home from home with everything you need. We hope you enjoy it. Godspocket as we call it is a very special place for our family our dad was an artist and he used to spend many hours painting in the conservatory and in the garden, there are actually pieces of his work on the walls. The house has a very special feel to it and it is really a home away from home this is a very welcoming and cosy house in the wild west of Ireland. The house is very comfortable the sitting room has 2 great sofas and a fab fire for kicking back and relaxing, there are some movies to choose from and there are a lot of books if that takes your fancy. The kitchen is very well equipped and has all the usual plus a double fridge freezer, and a dishwasher so there is no messy washing up. There are loads of pots and pans to cook with etc. so you won't struggle. The conservatory has a great table to sit and watch the wild Atlantic from and watch the birds swoop and struggle in the wind. There is a washing machine too so there is no need to go home with dirty washing. There are 3 very comfy beds and there is also 2 bathrooms, 1 is ensuite. The house is located really close to the Armada Hotel which does a great pint of Guinness and also does fab food and most evenings there is traditional music. The house is also located quite close to Doonbeg about a 15 minute drive and Lahinch is also about a 15 minute drive. The Cliffs of Moher are about 25 mins and Doolin about 35 so it is a fab location to explore from. If the weather is too wild there is a great TV and Blu-ray player to chill out with. If you need any further information please let me know. Many thanks, Sarah Whilst we will not be available we have a great caretaker called Tom who will be close at hand and will show you where everything is and how things work. The house is located in a little estate of bungalows, a lot of them are holiday homes. The people in Clare are super lovely and so helpful. The house is not close to public transport so you will need a car. There is a great Super Value (Supermarket) in Miltown Malbay and also a great bakery which does amazing scones.
