Bradwall Cottage at Ryehill Country Cottages
This attractive double storey barn conversion at Ryehill Country Cottages has superb views across open countryside. The light and airy living room, which leads into the kitchen, has an open fire, beams and French windows opening onto the courtyard. A wide spiral staircase leads to the first floor - three bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with twin beds and the third with a single bed. All bedrooms have excellent storage space. The bathroom with shower is on the ground floor. Bradwall Cottage is an excellent choice for guests with a young family. Please note we can provide a cot (with an extra mattress and cot bedding), a high chair, stair gates and a toddler bedside safety rail. Enjoy all the comforts of home in our superbly equipped cottage whether you plan to explore the many local attractions, village pubs or restaurants or simply relax at Ryehills and cook delicious meals using local produce from the Farm Shop at Chapel Brampton. The courtyard in front of the cottage is a south facing so if we are expecting good weather bring your sunscreen and sun hat! In the colder months Bradwall Cottage is centrally heated and has the added comfort of an open fire - smokeless fuel and logs can be provided on request. Guests have access to an outside seating area under a large old oak tree which provides shade during the summer months. Owners live close by and are available if our guests need assistance. We can be contacted personally or by telephone - details are available in the cottage. We are close to the pretty, friendly village of East Haddon and two miles away from Great Brington and Althorp House - family home of Princess Diana. We are surrounded by outstanding villages, thatched roofs and ancient churches. There are local shops in Long Buckby 3 miles away and many more amenities in DAVENTRY - 6 miles away. East Haddon village has a beautiful stone church and an excellent, thriving pub/restaurant serving delicious food - the Red Lion. A marked walked passes by our cottages from the centre of the village and continues across the fields to Ravensthorpe where you can walk round the reservoir and observe both birds and wild life. We never tire of observing the changing seasons across our beautiful landscape or watching the fabulous sunsets. It is best if guests arrive by car however they might like to bring their bikes and there is a marked walk which passes the bottom of the drive. Long Buckby - 3 miles away - has a railway station which connects to Euston London one way and Birmingham the other. There are two marked parking spaces for Bradwall Cottage and a tumble dryer (with an honesty pot to help cover the cost of electricity) in the shed in the courtyard. To the left of the shed are the general dustbins, recycling bins with blue lids for paper, plastics and glass and a small brown bin for waste food.
