Welcome to Hostel Obscura- Kansas City's least-kansasy urban art waypoint -- Please note that this is not the Waldorf. A few areas of this property are a WORK IN PROGRESS. But we aim to provide exceptional comfort, convenience, and an overall unique experience. We are pet friendly. We are Allies, & 420 friendly. Come see. Stay in one of K C’s historic colonnades that was originally constructed in 1915 as an apartment building, but is being gradually renovated into a gutterpunk paradise. This is a big old house with all spaces primarily set up for guests. We are seasoned hosts, and we are usually happy to chat or answer questions, but will mostly leave guests to their own devices. We are 2 miles East of downtown Kansas City, in a working class, culturally mixed neighborhood with many of the hallmarks of urban life. K C is generally designed around vehicular travel. All public transportation is 100% safe & free. no pass or id required. 90% sure this building is not haunted.
