Casa Mira Mar on Dominical Beach

This beach house hovers over the breaking waves of Dominical Beach. It is perched on a hill 200 meters from the ocean on a secluded beach and is a perfect home base for beach and mountain adventures. An amazing view of the ocean from every room! The pool is a great place to cool off after a day of adventuring. This casa is perched above the ocean and is one of the few places in dominical where you have an amazing view of the ocean, but can also walk to the beach. The 2 decks are a relaxing place to watch the sun drop into the ocean. The house comfortably sleeps 8. (2 double beds, 2 bunk beds) Guests will have acess to the entire house, as well as laundry area. We love sharing information about the house, and costa rica in general. Casa Mira Mar is close to the beach, waterfalls, restaurants, rainforest hikes, swimming holes, grocery stores, yoga studios and so much more. It is an excellent home base for adventures of all sorts. We have a binder at the house full of activities for guests. We recommend renting a 4x4 vehicle for the short road up to the house. Our house works great for friends, couples, or families. The upstairs deck is completely baby proof with railings on all sides :-) Located 200 meters from the ocean, the beach is accessible via driving or walking. Althouth the beach is close (there is a trail to the beach down the short driveway, and across the street), we recommend driving unless you are very steady on your feet. The road is gravel and steep and it can be easy to lose your balance. There are many beaches within a 2 minute drive where you can park right under a sea almond tree and watch the waves roll in. Our favorites are Dominicalito and Dominical beaches.
