Private Woodland Campsite-Fully Equipped 30’Camper

Nature Escape. Private Campsite on 16 acre Nature Preserve. Bright, spacious 30 foot camper trailer that sleeps up to 7 people. Enjoy the whole camping/glamping experience without all the equipment expense, list making and packing. We are set up to start having fun immediately. Eight person Beachcomber Hot Tub, three person Sunset Sauna and late May to late September solar heated above ground 15’ Pool on site. You are our only guest and the entire property is for your use. Fully equipped travel trailer ready for your enjoyment. Just bring your own personal camping essentials and food. The double master bed is a Kingsdown Carisma mattress with memory foam topper. There are two twin XL with memory foam bunk beds and a double futon style, fold down couch. If needed, the kitchen table can also covert to accommodate 1-2 additional persons. Basic cooking needs such as salt, pepper, spices, oil, coffee, creamer and sugar will be provided. Full size propane BBQ as well as smaller outdoor propane grill available. Fully equipped kitchen with propane 4 burner stove and oven, double sink, small fridge and microwave. Kitchen includes utensils, dishes, pots, pans, toaster, coffee maker, electric grill/griddle, electric kettle and popcorn maker. Please enjoy our outdoor spaces, several decks, multiple fire pits/fire places and forest paths. Various games available: badminton, croquet, board games and cards. Private children’s playground on site includes 2 slides, 2 swings, climbing wall, covered sand box and climbing gym. Campsite includes 2 person Hammock, laundry drying line, 2 Adirondack chairs, 2 deck chairs and small table, outdoor dining table and chairs, large stone surround fire pit, enclosed outdoor fire box and Gel flame fire bowl. Firewood and plastic deck chairs for fireside are provided. We have a 10 x 10 rain canopy over the outdoor dining area. Responsible smoking is allowed on the property but, please refrain from smoking inside. The stars are amazing from our hot tub or from our Dark Sky Platform. Bring along your telescope. At this time we can not welcome household pets as guests, as we are so interactive with the resident wildlife and we strive to give them a continued sense of safety and security. We are micro producers of Maple Ridge pure maple syrup in the spring (provided for your pleasure), abundant Blackberries in the summer and early fall (walk our woodland paths and pick your afternoon snack), and purveyors of naturally grown Blue Spruce and Balsom Pine Christmas trees in the winter. You are welcome to explore our 16 acres. A property map will be provided for you. Please note however, the conditions of trails will range from easy up to difficult deeper in the woods, depending on weather and time of year. I am a retired Veterinary Technician, you will find me gardening, walking a dog or hand feeding our chickadees, nuthatches, red squirrels, chipmunks and blue jays. I will be less than an acre away. We are situated just behind the 40 hectare Shubenacadie Provincial Wildlife Park and Ducks Unlimited Marshland hiking trail (5 minute drive). We are 2 Kilometers from the Shubenacadie River which boasts Championship striped bass fishing (2 minute drive) and the Shubie River Park and Canoe launch(6 minute drive). Canoes, kayaks and paddle boats are available for rental. We have the worlds highest recorded tides in our backyard and there are three Tidal Bore River Rafting companies between 17-30 minutes away. Two gorgeous golf courses Fox Hollow (9 minute drive) and The Links at Pennhills (11 minute drive) for your leisure. Atlantic Motorsport Park with weekly races is a 21 minute drive away. Our favourite local lake is Dollar Lake Provincial Park situated in Wyses Corner a 28 minute drive away. Mastodon Ridge holds a local goods Sunday Market as well as Winding River Art Gallery featuring Nova Scotia artists (11 minute drive). The famous Cup of Soul Cafe in Elmsdale (organic/fair trade) is more than worth the 19 minute drive.
