Number 12
No 12 is a beautiful, newly renovated terraced house in a quiet street just south of the harbour in Amble. It has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a spacious kitchen dining room, separate large sitting room with log burning stove and a generous entrance hall with plenty of room for coats, boots, wetsuits etc! Our house has an ensuite bedroom with king size zip and link bed (so can also be twin), a second, smaller double room (5' bed) and spacious twin bedroom. There is a family bathroom on the same floor with a shower over the bath. Downstairs there is another cosy shower room with underfloor heating. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking with fan oven, induction hob, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There is plenty of crockery and cutlery so you can cook up a storm! The dining area has a table that seats 6, but can be extended if you have guests for meals. The whole kitchen, dining, utility and shower area has underfloor heating, so is toasty warm. There is a separate utility room with washing machine, dryer and sink plus some extra worktop area for storage. The house has free fibre broadband. The sitting room has two large, comfy sofas plus an armchair and wood burning stove. There is a TV and DVD player with a selection of DVDs, books and board games. Access is via keys from a safe by the door. We are contactable all the time and although we live in Newcastle, we have a team in Amble who can come and sort any practical issues out immediately should they arise. We absolutely love Amble. It's a gorgeous little town with a working fishing harbour. Try the Fish Shack right on the harbour wall for gourmet fish and chips and other dishes. The meat pies from the Amble Butcher are amazing. There are several excellent restaurants to choose from and a fantastic Gelateria. Walking around the harbour on the promenade is unique and beautiful whatever the weather. Amble is compact, so you can walk everywhere in town. There is a good bus service up the coast to Warkworth, Seahouses and Bamburgh and Amble is only a few miles from the East Coast mainline if you want to nip to Newcastle or Edinburgh. Closer to home there are miles of beautiful, unspoilt beaches to enjoy.
