This coastal property is ideal for couples looking for a great base at an affordable price. It offers excellent value and is in a lovely village location, just half a mile from the sea at Braystones on the western coast of Cumbria. Bramble Bank is a first floor studio apartment and offers open plan living. It comes with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Sleeping three it has a comfortable double bed and one single bed, a two-seater sofa, a breakfast bar and a kitchen with fridge, electric hob and oven. You’ll also find a second room with plenty of hanging space and storage for your suitcases as well a compact bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The location is excellent, you’re just a short walk to the beach and the village centre. You have a choice of two pubs nearby, all within walking distance serving a range of good food, locally produced ales and have a welcoming atmosphere. If you like fishing, not only do you have the sea close by, there’s also Braystones Tarn with freshwater fishing available. If you like the coast, the beach at Braystones is lovely and you can walk for miles. From here you can easily access The Lake District National Park and you’re just a short drive to Ennerdale and The Western Fells which offer plenty of picturesque scenery, excellent walking and cycling routes, as well as the shortest route up the highest mountain in England, Scafell Pike, from Wasdale Head. For a spot of wild swimming or a paddle on the lake, Wastwater provides an amazing backdrop for paddle boarding and kayaking, great for a lakeside barbecue too. To the South you’ll find the famous Muncaster Castle and gardens, a great day out with plenty to see and do. You can also take a ride on La’al Ratty, a miniature railway taking passengers daily along the old quarry line to the coast. To the North the port and town of Whitehaven with beautiful harbour, all the popular high street brands and major supermarkets. Beach ½ mile. Free WiFi
