Dating from 1742 and restored during 2018, Jacquette and her sister property, Philibert, are two two bedroom winemakers houses on the edge of Pommard. Built around a secluded, sunny courtyard with fountain. Electric gates secure both properties. At first floor level, the main entrance opens into a huge air-conditioned open plan lounge, dining room and superbly equipped kitchen. Tri-fold doors lead onto the terrace and stunning views of one of the very best 'clos' in the area. Upstairs, with its floor to ceiling windows, the master bedroom provides a different perspective on the vineyards. Vast, light and airy, it vis complemented by a spacious and well appointed en-suite. A second bedroom, also with en-suite, is located at courtyard level. Features of Jacquette include: Large comfortable lounge area with modern wood burning stove, TV and Bose sound system. Intercom connecting to Philibert and to open the gate remotely. Dining area with a table that seats 6 comfortably. Well appointed kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine, induction hob, built in oven and microwave and american-style fridge freezer that dispenses both ice and chilled water. A large island, with integral dishwasher and sink, provides the opportunity for more informal meals. Air-conditioning across the entire area and a small cloakroom in the hall. Full length tri-fold doors lead onto a large terrace with comfortable sofas, a dining area and a barbeque. Benefitting from large picture windows, the air-conditioned master bedroom has a kingsize bed, full length wardrobes and drawers and a dressing table. Its en-suite has a double length walk in shower, freestanding bath, WC and sink. A hairdryer is supplied. The second bedroom has a kingsize bed that splits to a twin if required and an en-suite with walk in shower, WC and sink. There is a separate dressing area with wardrobes, vanity unit and hairdryer. There is no air-conditioning in this room. Communal utility room with fridge freezer, washing machine and dryer, clothes airer, sink unit, iron and ironing board. A welcome pack is provided on arrival and bed linen, towels and WIFI are included in the price. For stays of longer than 9 nights, a complimentary mid-stay clean and linen change is also offered. Cots and high chairs are available on request. Jacquette and Philibert can be rented separately or together.
