WOODEN HOUSE WITH GARDEN NEAR LAKE DE DEVESSET

THE WOODEN HOUSE is located at a place called Le Mazel, at an altitude of 1000m in the regional park of the mountains of Ardèche. We offer an entire accommodation for 4 to 6 people. The house has a private entrance, a large open kitchen, a living room with TV, a master suite with double bed and shower room with shower, another with 2 bunk beds. A double sofa bed in the living room in case there are more of you. The garden is very pleasant with flowers in summer. You have a washing machine and a barbecue. I like the contact with people, I like to share the things that I like. After 25 years of artistic direction in an advertising agency, I created a vegetarian restaurant in Paris that I ran for 5 years with my wife. We fell in love with this region of Ardeche, and we decided to move there to receive and share what we love. Here there is always something to see or do in any season. I opened a carpentry workshop in which I make custom furniture and kitchens. My wife Noky is a professional masseuse and offers energetic and relaxing oil massage (only for women). Nature is generous, the sunsets over the mountains are magnificent. Today what we want to share with you is this… Here we want to keep the local spirit and pay attention to nature. We manufacture the furniture ourselves using local sawn pine locally sawn. The vanity unit, table, bench, bed, armchair, coffee table, everything was done that way. the insulation was made of wood wool lined with rough lumber, which gives a special cachet to our cottage called the wooden house. The entrance is private and overlooks the garden. You can leave your car in front of the carpentry workshop. on the left the toilets, on the right the dining room / kitchen. Le Mazel, our cottage, is located in the heart of the Haute Ardèche, in the regional park of the Ardèche mountains. It is in the middle of large hiking trails. Devesset Lake is within 4 km on foot. The cottage is 5km from Chambon sur Lignon (and its famous golf course) and 4km from Saint Agrève, the famous Belvedere on the Ardèchois plateau. The Mezenc massif is 25 minutes by car with its 10 alpine ski trails and its 250km of cross-country skiing and snowshoeing (the daily rate is € 15 / day). There are many clubs nearby that offer horse riding, adventure trails, a tourist railway, bicycle or walking tours…
