Walnut Barn

Our two bed roomed house is next door to the main farmhouse and is surrounded by our large gardens and meadows, lake and ponds. Walnut barn has a large farmhouse kitchen with aga, and wood burner and bed settee (if needed) in the sitting room. Outside has a private southern terrace with large koi pond .Both bedrooms are ensuite bathroom, one with bath. Lovely views from all rooms. Next door is a five bedroomed barn conversion so combined if needed the properties could sleep 16 plus guests. Quintessentially charming, English vintage styled barn, as well as being cosy, warm and comfortable. Less than two miles from Market Harborough but situated in a peaceful, idyllic setting. A beautiful and special place in which to relax and unwind. The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms. There are two en suite bedrooms containing a queen, and double. The king can be split into two singles. There is a double bed settee in the sitting room If needed although the guests need to share one of the bathrooms upstairs. There is also a resident Yoga Teacher offering the opportunity to make bookings in her beautiful, nearby Yoga Studio for Yoga & Meditation Classes, Indian Massage and Gong Baths during your stay. There is undercover parking approaching the farmhouse and a pathway through the garden. A south facing terrace outside the kitchen features a large well stocked koi pond. Guests are welcome to enjoy the grounds and the lake, this provides a perfect tranquil setting to sit and relax. The barn has a large farmhouse kitchen and sitting room with 2 en suite bedrooms upstairs. There is another terrace by the private front entrance.. this gets the afternoon sun. Guests usually park under the arch and enter via the oak front door of the barn. The barn is totally private, I live next door and I'm happy to help or advise on any questions or issues guests might have. There is a large car park adjacent to the covered private parking under the archway approaching the cottage entrance. The idyllic countryside setting is stunning, it's a very beautiful and very special place in which to live. Market Harborough is a great market town to explore. The grounds here are managed as a small wildlife reserve.. Lots to see and observe, especially our two resident swans! Lots of local walks and pubs nearby. Market Harborough has lots to offer. You need a car or taxi to get here...Murhys taxi's are good (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). We are a mile along Marston lane outside the pretty village of East Farndon ... It's an hour by train from London, then ten minutes by taxi to us. There is a wooden sign by the gate sating 'Farndon Grange' There are many amenities and things to do places to explore... Foxton locks is a couple of miles away, there is gliding at Husbands Bosworth, golf, horse riding, gym, pool, walks locally, and sailing at pitsford nearby. Kelmarsh Hall is nearby, a great place to visit! The Jurassic Way, a famous trekking trail is adjacent to the house. Lots of places to eat locally and plenty of pretty country pubs. You can even order a takeaway from Chinese, Indian and pizza places to be delivered here!
