My air-conditioned, underfloor heated, spacious 3 bedroom barn conversion, is the result of a loving conversion of the standalone Victorian red-brick barn at my family home, Rectory Farm. The Barn is set in a private 14 acre estate in the rolling countryside close to Market Harborough (1 hour by high speed train to London). The Barn has literally just been converted for luxury modern living so everything is brand new and sparkling clean. Its filled with custom-made furniture, original art, premium appliances and fun gadgets. The Barn is a large 160m2 sq metre / 1800 square foot space which welcomes friends and families or work colleagues travelling together. Ideal for those who want a relaxing and luxurious place to stay which is a world apart from the chain hotels and poor quality accommodation otherwise available. Luxury doesn’t have to mean squandering precious resources – we use Solar Power, Air Source heating, Filtered Well Water and more means you can enjoy your stay without it having to dwell on your conscience. I host because I love helping people discover the area where I grew up and giving them the chance to experience it the way we do as locals. We respond quickly via the AirBNB app, Messaging Apps and by phone if you have any questions. When you arrive we will normally be here to welcome you personally, but I also provide self check-in via your personal door code if you are arriving late. Clipston is just 10 minutes drive from the hustle and bustle of Market Harborough which is directly connected by direct high speed train to Nottingham, Leicester, Luton Airport and London St Pancras and one change to London Gatwick Airport. The village offers a traditional English way of life with a good pub serving homemade food, summer fetes, friendly community and access to beautiful walks and countryside pursuits. We are very close to a plethora of interesting places and things to do including the world famous Foxton Locks and the Grand Union canal, The Soaring Centre (Glider Airport), Mini Meadows Children's Farm Park, Pitsford Reservoir (for sailing / kayaking / biking), Mini Mischief's Soft play centre and much more. Whilst you can arrive by train and then taxi to The Barn, most people come by car, as we are located about 2 miles from the village in open countryside and we offer secure parking free of charge. o The Barn is a single storey building with its private courtyard garden in the centre of the accommodation. It is very private. We have done our best to make it accessible and wheelchair friendly. o We are always super flexible to try to accommodate late check-out and early / late check-in subject to other guests arriving or departing whenever we can.
