Welcome to our lovely Scandinavian lodge cottage situated on the bank of the lake at Riverside Island Marina. A beautiful and peaceful location with lots of fascinating wildlife frequenting the lake and great fishing from your garden. South facing sunny garden with decked area bordering the lake. Ideal for a peaceful day watching the wildlife on the lake. The fishing from the garden can be really good. Specimen Pike, Zander, Bream, Perch and Roach have all been caught. Beautiful conservatory overlooking the lake where you can watch all sorts of birds - ducks, geese, swans, herons and even kingfishers and great crested grebes. Fishing is excellent too with specimen bream, pike, zander, perch and roach. A few wild carp too. Compact and fully equipped kitchen with double oven, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine. 40 inch smart TV in the living room. You have the whole place to yourselves including garden and lakeside decking. I am always available to call The lodge is on a private estate with some lovely private walks to explore. Great fishing for pike, specimen perch and roach and even a few wild carp is also available on the River Lark that surrounds the marina. There are many different species of birds including kingfishers, great crested grebes, herons and many ducks. The nearby village of Isleham has several pubs, Co-op supermarket and a Chinese takeaway. Newmarket and Ely are just 15 minutes away, Cambridge and Bury St Edmunds about 30 minutes. This is a great base to explore the beauty of Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire. Wildtracks motor adventure park and Go-Karting are 10 minutes away.
