Discover the charm of the real France in my beautiful and unique holiday cottage, in the heart of a most picturesque village. The cottage is a small converted barn which is nestled alongside my own home and my passion, my Brocante Shop and Reclamation Yard. If you love boot fairs and braderies, antiques and vintage items, treasure and trash, you will adore this interesting home. Everything is for sale, you will definitely be able to go home with a souvenir! The space This beautiful barn conversion cottage is located in the heart of Ambricourt, a picturesque village which was the setting for the 1936 novel The Diary of a Country Priest which was written by Georges Bernanos. Nearby there are many local attractions like the Chateaux of Tramecourt and the famous Azincourt which has an extremely interesting museum. The fabulous seaside resort of Le Touquet is under an hour away and well worth visiting. There are local Supermarkets only 10 minutes drive away with a good selection of cheese, pate and wine perfect for picnics or alfresco dining on your own private patio. Guest access You have access to your own outside patio area which is very spacious. You have your own front and rear access. You have two private bedrooms, a private bathroom and a private lounge/ kitchen. Sandra, her mother June and their dogs live on the property, but your cottage is in the grounds and quite separate from them. Interaction with guests The layout ensures that the hosts will be discreet, but available if required. Sandra is happy to help with information on the local area, recommend eating establishments, where to get a decent cup of coffee and other important stuff like that. Other things to note Please note that we live in a valley which can on occasion cause intermittent WIFI access at the property. Guests tend to use this as an opportunity to switch off from daily pressures of the world and relax in the beautiful settings surrounding them. Please note that there will be an extra charge of €5 euros per night for each dog, and also any damages done by the dog/ dogs will need to be paid for.
