Cozy Cottage on Sunny Hillside

My place is secluded and private. A nice place to write or get some "zen" time. My return guests often come to sleep/rest and get out of the hustle and bustle of the city or a break from a demanding job. Studio apartment with bathroom and full kitchen in a quiet and safe neighborhood on the central coast. Wonderful hiking and ocean views just a short walk away. Morro Bay Rock and Estuary, Montana De Oro State Park and beaches a leisurely 5-10 minute drive. Enjoy a day driving up the coast seeing the elephant seals and the historic Hearst Castle in beautiful San Simeon. Your accommodations are a detached studio from the main house on a beautiful acre set away from the street with your own private parking. I want to emphasize that the living areas and shower are quite small and compact (the bed is your couch while watching TV). I wouldn’t want someone with a larger stature to be disappointed with the accommodations, but besides that, the studio should have everything you need. It's very clean, light and open. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and safe and your studio will be a very private getaway. We are a 15-20 minute drive to San Luis Obispo; a very fun college town with plenty of night life and an adorable downtown shopping area. We have some very nice wineries in the area and you can spend the afternoon tasting if you'd like. My place is off the beaten path, so although there is a bus stop about a mile away, you will most likely need your vehicle to get to most places conveniently. :) To make sure I am respectful of all future guests, I have a very strict policy about smoking inside the studio. Thank you ahead time for your consideration and for being respectful of this request. The neighborhood is very quiet so no loud parties or guests. I would really like to see a profile picture, a few words about yourself and the purpose and of your trip before I can accept a booking, Thank you very much for understanding and I look forward to meeting you! Parking is easy - private off street parking located next to your accommodations. My only interaction with guests is a brief hello during your stay just to introduce myself. Otherwise, unless there is a problem, I will give you your complete privacy as I am a private person myself. For those of you only staying briefly, it is possible that I may not see you at all being that we may be on different schedules. :) Rural neighborhood setting. There is a bus stop about a mile away -- but public transportation is minimal. In our little town, it is best to have a vehicle to get around. Due to my work schedule, I do travel and work long hours at times. I may not always be able to accept one night stays or I may not be home during your stay. You can message me for special requests for one nights stays. I do charge more for “one nighters" because I have to pay a cleaning person . One night stays are $188 (weekday) or $288 (weekend).
