Recently renovated rooms available for rent, perfect for families, friends or couples. There are 4 bedrooms available in total (capacity of 2-4). The property includes two bathrooms with a shower (one per two bedrooms) as well as a bathroom in the communal space. There is a shared kitchen available that has hobs, kettle, dishwasher and a small fridge. The property has a large garden, space for a BBQ, sports activities and relaxation. It is located a short 7min walk from the seaside. All rooms have one double bed and a double sofa bed (perfect for families with children). Kitchen is fully fitted for your needs during a short stay or a longer vacation. The rooms are located on the 2nd floor and the 1st floor is a communal space with a fireplace, sofas, large dining table and a smaller area for relaxation. There is also a sound-system that you are free to use, but we ask you to respect other guests when it comes to the volume. The property has a large green area, outdoors terrace with a roof as well as a large fireplace. There is an area for playing basketball, football and even table-tennis (starting from June 2017). As this is a family property, there will be someone at home to help you with any queries for most of the time and in the unlikely event that no-one is present, we will gladly take your phone calls and resolve any questions or issues quickly! :) The seaside is located a short 7min walk distance away, with the closest forest being only a couple of minutes away and the canal leading into the lake takes around 10mins to walk to. Some notable attractions nearby are the Kanieris lake bird-watching tower and boat rental (5km), Kemeru National Park, as well as several other attractions that we will gladly direct you towards to. There are several shops and cafes located a short walking distance away as well as a larger market and shopping mall located a mere 15min drive away. We will happily suggest you which is the best place to go, depending on your needs, as there are several specialty cafes and shops (e.g. smoked fish) available nearby. The property is located only a short 15min drive from the resort city Jurmala and a 50min drive from Riga. The easiest way to get around is a car. However, the property is also easily accessible by bus from Riga (takes around 1hr) or Jurmala (around 20-30mins, depending on the starting point). When at the property, most of the locations can be accessed by foot or a short drive away. The area is perfect for cycling, with some great forest and seaside routes and we will happily provide you some guidance on the walking and cycling routes, based on the length and difficulty you would prefer. Given Ragaciems is notable for its smoked fish production, we can offer you a range of freshly smoked fish for friendly prices, if you would like to try some.
