We offer a tastefully-furnished one-bedroom basement apartment in a quiet high-end neighborhood in Plymouth. It is fully-equipped and ideal for long-term stays. The apartment has large windows and doesn't feel like a basement. It has a private entrance; only the garage is shared with the host. The bedroom has a closet and a queen bed. There is a kitchen, complete with all dinning and cooking utensils, a dinning area, a living room with leather sofas, a work area, and a large bathroom with shower. Total space is about 800 square feet. High-speed WiFi covers the entire property. The work area has Ethernet and a comfortable Scandinavian-designed desk. Everything from linens and towels to shampoo and soap are provided. Just bring your toothbrush. Comes with garage parking (with remote) for a single medium-sized car. We cannot accommodate multiple cars in the driveway and street parking is not allowed in our neighborhood. This space is perfect for corporate housing. We are located a couple of miles from I-494 and Highway 55, about 25 minutes from downtown Minneapolis, 35 minutes from airport, and convenient to many shopping centers and office complexes. The windows have plantation shutters for added privacy. During the summer, the yard is filled with roses and other plants we personally attend to. Cleanliness, kindness and courtesy are keywords in our home and you will enjoy discretion and privacy. Our home is ideal for people who suffer from allergies to pets, like members of our family. Animals have never entered. Shoes are prohibited. The floors are kept spotless and sanitized. We provide a shoe rack at entrance. Please do not reserve if you cannot abide by this rule. Guests have exclusive access to the suite via a private entrance. The shared areas are the garage and gardens surrounding the property. Only on rare occasions - i.e. to access the furnace or the water softener - the host will ask for a convenient time to pass through. I am available to my guests but I allow them their privacy. We live in the floor directly above the unit. Guests come and go through a private entrance. We are located in a recently developed area that was dotted with horse farms only a couple of decades ago. It is a high-end Plymouth subdivision, where home prices approach seven figures. The neighborhood is safe, tranquil and offers many opportunities for walking and jogging. Within walking distance there are the Gateway Park, Southwood Green Park and the woodsy Woodland Trails, all of which offer well-maintained play equipment for youngsters. There are at least a dozen other municipal parks and beaches within the 3-mile radius. Several gyms nearby offer daily and weekly passes. I-494 is 2.5 miles away. Bus numbers 777 and 776 stop within walking distance. An Uber ride from Terminal 1 of MSP airport costs $45 (during normal demand) and takes about 35 minutes. Target, supermarkets and many restaurants are within the three-mile radius. Costco, Walmart and larger malls are in the five-mile radius. - There is no washing machine and dryer in the unit. However, guests staying more than a week can arrange in advance the use of the the washer/dryer units on another floor. - There is no cable TV. We receive digital broadcast channels via antenna and there is a Roku box that streams online content. - The leather couch in the living room is NOT a sleeper sofa. Please check the photo of the living room if a guest plans on sleeping on the couch. - The size of the garage is not suited for large vehicles, such as large truck or SUV. - In June 2021, one guest who used VOIP (online conversations) throughout the day mentioned occasional short interruptions of the Internet lasting a few seconds. The problem is with the Internet provider that has a monopoly in this area, not our equipment.
