Car is good to have because the location is a bit outside Alingsås. Welcome! Patio with views through the landscaped garden to the lake. Perfect for cozy barbecues. The owners live on the property. From the cottage a trail leads down through the landscaped garden to the lake (about 200meter). On the beautiful cliffs is the charming little "bathhouse" located. Here you'll enjoy the view and evening sun! Perfect for sunbathe, swim, study bird life and relax. In the small bay on the property there is a small boat and a canoe that you are free to borrow. (life jackets also) Then you can give yourself an experience on the lake Mjörn. There're are many fine islands to explore!. In fine weather, grill your own caught fish in the garden. Bicycles are also available for those who want the adventure of Västra Bodarna, which is known for its beautiful paths along the stone walls. Nearest town: Alingsås a lovely small town, 7 kilometers (about 10 minutes by car) The commuter train takes about 5 minutes and stops at Västra Bodarna Station. The easiest way is to get around by car , especially if you want to explore the surroundings of Alingsås and grocery shopping . Without a car it's about 20 minutes walk to Västra Bodarna station. From there, commuter trains to Alingsås and Gothenburg every hour. The boat is not the lake during winter-months.
