The house is set in two acres and is situated in an elevated position looking out towards parts of Normandy, Brittany and Loire (Mayenne). Within a few minutes of a number of attractions including the Lac du Vezins, where there is a leisure park, and the waterfalls and walks at Mortain. The nearest golf course is at Dathee not far from Vire (20 minutes). The Wednesday market at St Hilaire is not to be missed. There are many good local restaurants (details in the house).
