Just a short drive from Matlock and Matlock bath. It is the perfect location for relaxing and watching the world go by after a busy day exploring the many trails and peaks in the area or even for fishing on our private stretch of river, or launching a canoe / kayak for a leisurely river cruise down to Matlock. With off street secure parking for 1 car, this property is perfect for a small family or some friends and is pet friendly too. PLEASE NOTE: This can be booked with our adjoining property (Bridge View) to sleep up to 10 people. Please search property ID 10887520 We have our own private stretch of river with fishing rights of approximately 50m up to the bridge, after the bridge you can also fish for free but is owned by an angling club so is not private. Rod license is required but fish include: Trout, Grayling, Chub and Roach. Ground Floor Accessed externally from a stable style door perfect for letting the summer breeze through there is a large open plan kitchen / diner / living area. Benefits from being very sociable and has large floor to ceiling windows and french doors looking out directly on to the river. Gas fire and large TV with full Sky Q package. The kitchen area contains all modern appliances including fridge, freezer, washing machine / dryer, oven and hob. Private decking area can be accessed from the french doors with outdoor seating. As well as access to the communal lawned area, river level decking / pontoon and further seating to enjoy the sun and river (shared with our adjoining property Bridge View). The whole area is private when both properties are booked together. There is also a WC on the ground floor next to a corridor which leads to the adjoining property Bridge View House. PLEASE NOTE - Access will only be available if both properties are rented together. First Floor Spacious master bedroom with super king size bed and TV with full Sky Q package and views of the river. Second bedroom can be twin beds or paired together to make a super king size. Dual aspect windows with views of the bridge and river on both sides. TV with full Sky Q package. Bathroom Pleasant bathroom with shower over bath, vanity unit with lighting and shaver point. A travel cot and high chair are available for those travelling with infants.
