Secluded off grid holiday with sea views

Tastefully converted shipping container for 2 available from April to October, plus - for June, July & August - a gorgeous bell tent you can use as a 2nd bedroom for upto 2 more adults (or teenage children), &/or a comfy sitting area, plus adjacent compost loo & hot water shower, a deck with sea views and a fire pit with BBQ grill for outdoor catering. Perfect for a retreat, a romantic holiday, or a back to nature family experience. Plus footpaths lead from here to 3 beautiful beaches! Have the wild, outdoor experience, be close to nature, sit by the fire, under the stars.....and then have the luxury of a proper, comfy kingsize bed to sleep in, and an indoor kitchen with gas hob and hot washing up water for when it's too windy or wet to cook on the fire!! Enjoy swimming in the many coves you can walk to from here, and come home a hot shower, and star-gazing. Visited by badgers, foxes, buzzards and deer, with an abundance of butterflies, dragonflies and birds, this is a nature-lover's paradise! Wild food foraging, painting classes, surfing and dolphin-watching trips all available locally. The container and bell tent are in the far corner of our field, and have a good degree of privacy. You can park close by. We live 200 metres away, & although we value our privacy as much as we expect you value yours we are on hand to deal with any problems & happy to share local knowledge so you can make the most of your stay. We are just over a mile from Lands End....right at the far Western tip of Cornwall. We are down a farm track, surrounded by farmland & the most stunning coast....a perfect base for walking, sea-swimming and enjoying nature. Our nearest village amenities are 5 minutes drive away, so it's worth getting your shopping on the way through Penzance if you can. Having a car definitely makes it easier if you want to shop, go out for meals or visit sites.....but we are close to a bus stop on the Penzance to Lands End route, and there is a friendly local taxi company if you don't have a car. You can walk to some of the finest beaches, coves & coastal paths in the world (in my opinion!). We can sometimes offer pick-ups from Penzance station. Tescos and Sainsburys deliver groceries here, and there is a farm stall at the end of the lane. Please note that because we only put the bell tent up for the summer this glamping spot is suitable for max of 2 people til last Friday in May, and from 1st Monday in September, but can house 4 between those dates. This is an off-grid holiday; you will get all the benefits of wild camping but with the luxury of a comfortable indoor kitchen, & gas-heated shower. Lighting is with battery powered lights & candles. There is a fridge exclusively for your use near where you park your car, plus access to a freezer and washing machine that you can use 200metres away by prior arrangement. For those who can't manage without technology, there is mobile phone reception, 4G coverage, and a hook up (with adaptor) is available for recharging. No wi-fi available though, sorry.
