Comfortably furnished 2-bedroom apartment with kitchen, shower, toilet, parking space for cars and spacious outdoor area with barbecue facilities are located in the small town of Hoym. The apartment sleeps up to four people. On request an extra bed for another two people is possible. Just 4 kilometers Zealand, Novelis is at Nachterstedtview, the largest aluminum plant in Germany. The small town of Hoym can be seen as an ideal starting point for walks and excursions in the Harz Mountains. Hoym is located between the world heritage city of Quedlinburg and Aschersleben, the oldest town in Saxony-Anhalt. In the Aschersleben State Garden Show was held in 2010, which has made the city more beautiful. In about 30 minutes you reach z. B. Thale with its romantic Bode Valley, the sagenumwobenem Hexentanzplatz and Roßtrappe. Longer hikes lead to the Brocken (with Harzquerbahn from Gernrode). The Harzquerbahn is an attraction in itself, it runs between Gernrode, Nordhausen and Wernigerode. Without any effort on the Brocken (1142m) will take the Brocken Railway. A beautiful (but long) hike leads from Benneckenstein always on the former East German border along to the Brocken.
