Comfortable apartment in natural surroundings

Our farm is located in Reichenau, district of Waidhaus, only 500 m (by foot) away from fhe Czech border. The uniqueness of our location can be described through its remote and natural surroundings. Large forest areas, many streams and ponds as well as green meadows are only some of the beautiful aspects of the area. A stay here is ideal for travellers on their way to Prague or anywhere East. Dog owners are welcome! See you soon. Christiane Our appartment consits of a well equipped eat-in kitchen and one bedroom. The bedroom is provided with two single beds and has direct access to our sun terrace. Besides exploring an unspoiled nature, you might want to visit the anchient medieval towns of Ratisbon/Regensburg ( ca. 90 km), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Nuremberg/Nürnberg ( 130 km). Every saturday, nearby Weiden, a picturesque small town, hosts a colorful market. The world famous Bohemian baths of Karlovy Vary, Frantiskovy Lazne and Marianske Lazne are not far away and can't wait to be discoverd by you. The same goes for the spendid capital, Prague ( 170 km), and Plzen ( 75 km), the capital of Pilsner beer and the European Capital of Culture in 2015. To those interested in history the forests near Reichenau offer glimpses into the past. Till 1946, the dense forests of today used to boast villages, trip hammers and foundries populated and worked by German-speaking Czechs. Info plates along hiking and bike paths will enlighten you; just ask your hosts. All navigations systems will find the village of Reichenau. Once arrived in the village follow the street an you will arrive at the T-junction. Turn right here and after 20 m you will find the entrance to our farm on the right side.
