Brand new penthouse with balcony in the centre

Situated in a lucrative neighbourhood of Banska Bystrica, Viladom Komenskeho is a new development (completed July'17), 10 mins walk to historical centre and 12 minutes walk to Europa Shopping centre. Our 2 bedroom penthouse on top floor (lift and private parking space, enjoys ample of sun, mountain breeze and gorgeous views). Immaculately decorated and fully fitted to cater comfortably to 3 three adults and a toddler. Managed by our local family, we welcome any tourist to Slovakia to our home. Total of 40 sq.m with additional 10 sq.m of terrace, all equipped and furnished to a high standard. The bedroom has also a cot (up to 3-4 years old) and a changing table plus large cupboard for cloths. The sofabed in living room can open and comfortably sleep one adult or even two kids. The kitchen is fully equipped, spacious with adequate storage. There is no dining table but there is a bar with 2 high stools. The bathroom indulges you with an extra deep bath tub. Guests will be greeted by one of us or be left with a key at the entrance to the property. Komenskeho is the hill which extends from the city centre (historical old town square with fountain and tower clock). There is another new development with mini super market close by - 2min walk. Neighbourhood is quiet and secluded yet in vicinity to the city centre. Komenskeho is considered to one of the new up coming residential areas and Viladom Komenskeho (this development) is positively known for its modern design and high calibre residents. The above is our subjective description. The central bus station is 2.5 EURO taxi drive away from the flat and if arriving by car, we have a private parking space for guests. Please inquire. Full serenity! It's super central but very quiet. Easy access to all amenities of the city centre are within walking distance. It's comfortable for a short and a long stay, especially if you are planning to explore the country - it's situated in the middle, so within driving distance to all the natural, historical wonders of Slovakia. You can easily opt for day trips. Banska Stiavnica, a beautiful medieval town (recognised as an Unesco heritage site) is only 45min drive, so ideal for a day trip. Bratislava airport, 1h 45min. During winter there are many opportunities for daily trips to mountains, as the apartment is in a close proximity to a few skiing locations, where you can enjoy winter sports, hiking or just relaxing in the beautiful mountains. The Donovaly ski resort, only 25 minutes drive from the city, offers great snow conditions and facilities. Ski Sacticky only 15 minutes drive, Kraliky 18 minutes drive. Both are good options for an easy-going day of skiing or snowboarding, even more suitable for taking kids to enjoy some snow. Low and High Tatras, most renowned Slovak mountains are hour 1-1.5 drive.
